Does anyone own this fish? What is like observing these fish. How are they?

Mine was phyco, really really aggressive, even when it was subadult and my severums were breeding and defending their nest it nearl killed the female, and battered up the male.It wouldn't go with anything.
They are really really nice looking and fun to have. They're one of my favourite fish.I think I did a profile on them in fish species index.

I wouldn't get one, in my opinion you need to sort out your current tanks, if youre planning to add a texas in that will just be asking for trouble.

Yeh, it would be death and destruction. It would outgrow a 29gal or whatever it was you had the pacu etc in, in about 5 months anyway, if it were small (an inch or two). :/

I've got 2 texas blues in my 44gal tank they are ok, usually hide in the rocks or just pose by swimming still for a while. Not found them aggressive towards anything they've been in there for over 6 months and we watch them every day, they got there asses kicked by the honduran red points if they tried to go near there piece of bogwood though.

I have a Texas cichlid with a Jack Dempsey in a 60 gallon. Never had a problem; however, they have both grown up with each other since they were young.

yea ur pacu and channel cat will get huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
u need like a 500 gallon for those two fish alone as adults
