I feed a flake food for my tetras and a sinking pellet for my cories. The problem is cories are slow eaters, so the tetras finish the flakes, then go and nab sinking pellets from the cories too. I think the tetras are already getting a bit overfed due to this, so I don't want to feed more, but how do I tell if the cories are getting enough? Are there any visual signs I can see to tell if a cory is underfed or has gotten enough food? Like something I can see BEFORE it's super malnourished and unhealthy?

Feed the pellets to the cories just before you turn the room lights off last thing at night. The cories will find them in the dark while the tetras are asleep.

I can see the little bellies on my bigger bronzes but the peppered seem a bit thinner
Their behavior is the same
Is it just natural body shape

If you have a long enough tank (mine is 72"), feed the Tetras on one side and while they are all distracted plop the wafers on the other side. My Tetras are getting wise to this I think, so I may have to try the nighttime method described above. It is comical to watch them grab a pellet and the others chase the thief.
