Tetra Tec 1200 External Filter Leaking

We purchased a Tetratec 1200 from our LFS approx. 15 months ago, and have had no problems with cleaning or maintenance.

Tonight we have had water escaping out of the top (where the pipes connect) and from around the seal (where the top of the unit meets the base of the unit thereby creating a seal). We have replaced the rubber and this has made no difference.

Where am I going wrong??

call teratec at once,they have a great reputation for replacing bits and bobs when something goes wrong

are you sure that you have pushed the pipes on far enoiugh and screwed them on?? and is the top sitting onj the base properly?? i know they are silly Q`s but i had mine laeak as i had forced the top of the filter onto the base the wrong way round,it locked too, but not close enough
