I am trying to cut some costs on my fish keeping and one of my lots favorite food is Tetra Prima, I have found on fleabay some sellers selling it loose in packs quite cheep (£8.00 for 300g) which is what I pay for a 75g tub. Has anyone bought some loose?

I am just a little dubious as I bought some cichlid pellets off fleabay and they will not eat them (the dogs like them though?)

I usually buy the 2 ltre bulk bags from ebay and it's fine.

Thanks Jake I will get some.

Yep I buy it in bulk, usually comes in vacuum sealed packets, cheaper that way, same as you get in LFS, I usually store it in an old Ice cream tub!

I have bought it in bulk before just make sure you have some tubs to put it in to keep it fresh otherwise it loses the goodness in it

I have bought the bulk before and I honestly dont think its the same food. My fish liked it but didnt go crazy for it like when it was the real deal. The same seller also had doramin on offer though apparently the bulk form is "slightly smaller and has a different texture" yeh right
