My setup is as follows. I have a 7 month established Rio 180, live planted with around 6 plants at the moment. Along with some bog wood. I do, without fail, weekly 50L water changes. I add no additives or any other chems. I am running a Fluval 306 external filter.

3 Hatchets
1 Dwarf Graoumni(spellcheck)
3 Neons
5 Glowlights
4 Guppies
2 Mollies
4 Plattys
1 Ancest' Plec'
4 Corries

Using the API droplet testing kit.

Amonia is at 0 ppm
NitrAte is at 10/20 ppm
NitrIte is at 0 ppm
PH is at 8.2

I picked up some Tetra Plantamin fert today. Now this is what it says on the back of the bottle.

Add 5ml per 10 litres (2.2 Gallons) of aquarium water for a newly set up tank or at each partial water change or 5ml per 20 litres(4.4 gallons) for re-fertilization every 4 weeks.

If my tank is new it would be an initial dose of 90ml? But it's not new.

I would need to add 25ml each weekly 50L water change? (Works out 100ml every 4 weeks/1 month)

I would need to add 45ml each month? Which contradicts the above 25ml x 4(weeks) = 100ml?

See I don't want to add a huge amount like 45ml in one go. However if I follow instuctions for a weekly water change dose it works out well over the 45ml monthly dose.

Basicly im totaly lost. Any help in dose would be greatly appreciated. It says easy application, however it has got me lost.

As it states 45ml every 4 weeks. Instead of putting such a huge amount in at once, would it be best to dose say 10ml each week/water change?
