Tank inhabitants:4x dwarf cory, 1x pearl danio, 2x kuhli loach, 6x neon tetra, 2x mollies, 3x platys, 7x WCMM

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):2x kuhli loach, 6 neon tetra, 2x mollies, 3x platys

Exposure to chemicals:NIL

My friend and are are convinced that most spots and pimples in fish are bacterial in origin, so if they look like that, I'd suggest a course of Myxazin as a first port of call.

If they don't look like pimples, can you describe what you mean by 'lumpy'?

I think I may know why. The new additions to your tank may of stressed him so much that he feels threatened by all the new fish. I think he got too stressed and didn't want to come out to eat because of the other fish. You could try putting him in a tank by himself if that's possible. Do you see any things unusual on his scales? Are any of your other fish acting different?

none of the other fish are acting differently, he sociallises with them as well. The lumps on him are like 2 hills then a dip in between. He sometimes eats a bit but spits it back out. thanks for the replies btw. Will try and pick up some myaxacin when possible, but dont know if the lfs does it or not. will a general internal bacterial do?

I think it may be internal like you said. I think that would be okay. This isn't my special spot in keeping fish but I know the basics. Hopefully somebody better will come and post.

ok thanks, i cant get anything tomorrow so i hope he lasts out ill the day after. Will Anti internal bacterials harm scale-less fish?

Internal parasites by the sounds of it, perhaps brought on by the introduction of a large quantity of fish which has spiked the ammonia levels. Although could he have accidentally eaten some gravel in you tank? A long shot but I've had fish who've done similar in the past and they've deteriorated as a result. Also your tank sounds slightly overstocked but thats just personal opinion. Best of Luck.

If you can't get myxazin try esha 2000 it's an excellent general medication.
It does sound like internal parasites.
I have to agree with the previous post in that maybe you are overstocked.

Unfortunately, the tank stayed fine and the fish was ill in the shop. i only noticed that he was thin while he was in the bag and i kept a week between adding fish (finished it over a fortnight) so the filter had some time to accommodate. I didn't realize i bought a sick fish though and they wont refund me unless he is dead

No, he is far too small to do that he couldnt even get his mouth round it.

problem is that i cant get either! i an going to have to get the interpet rubbish now! and i might not be able to get over to harlow to buy it for the next WEEK!

hopefully i can cycle to h'low tomorrow. The fishes condition seems to be stable at the moment, i cant say about tommorow though. Hang on in there little guy!
