Hi, i bought a tetra ex1200 off ebay recently (new), when it arrived it was missing the locking lever and 2 valves, the seller has replaced these so tonight i spent a few hrs getting the system ready for the transfer from my earthquake noise making cheap external, just about to connect the pipes and start up and i noticed the locking valve was extremely loose and i could simply lift it out of the powerhead without any pressure, now looking it appears the filter i have is supposed to have the 2 lever setup with key and lever, when the one i actually have is a simple 1 lever setup.

Im hoping the seller can sort this out for me, but i cannot source the correct the part after spending 20 minutes on the net searching, even tetras website appears to show the incorrect part, do anyone know where these can be sourced? Im rather pxxsed off as the filter arrived tuesday and i stil havent got it going, and sleeping is a struggle when the old external sounds like its going to blow up.

thanks

New TetraEx have a different lock sistem on hose adapters. Search on Youtube how they work.

thanks, Yes i know they are different locking type system, after 2 days searching the net, contacting tetra but it being the weekend no joy, a semi local store let me buy the valve system from a brand new boxed filter, he would then replace it via tetra which was much appreciated and unexpected, I felt obliged to buy some fish off him so got 2 julii corys to join the rest of the gang.
