Tetra EasyBalance
Happily, the fishkeeper's life is about to change forever

It's all thanks to EasyBalance - a revolutionary new liquid water additive, which cleverly eliminates the need for frequent water changes.

Until now, there was really only one way you could keep your aquarium water properly balanced. That was by removing some of the old water every few weeks and replacing it with fresh - a messy and time-consuming chore.

Now EasyBalance changes everything - researched and developed over many years, long term tests have proved conclusively that TetraAqua EasyBalance actually eliminates the need for frequent water changes.

In effect, when EasyBalance is added to the aquarium, it replicates the 'refreshing' action of traditional water changes - so now fishkeeping will be much easier and cleaner.

Now, using a little EasyBalance every week will keep your aquarium water in chemical and biological balance for six months.

And that in turn means you will only have to do one water change every six months. Always assuming you've got the bottle.

I have a friend who swears by it. He doesn't go 6 months between water changes though. He added EasyBalance once a week and does a water change once a month.

Wow, a friend who likes giving money to Tetra and his LFS for a product that has very few, if any, documented benefits (bloo's got a good list there) and quite a few problems in my opinion. I mean, if guppies aren't breeding, something is wrong.

That said, please put your friend in contact with me, I'm willing to sell my new great tank additive, dihydrogen monoxide. Guaranteed to improve your fish's vitality and pep. Normally $25.99 per liter (plus shipping and handling, of course) but for the next 24 hours I'll knock that down to $19.99, that's over 20% off!. I only use all natural ingredients, and I guarantee freshness upon arrival. He'll probably want to use at least one liter per water changes, so if he becomes a regular customer I'll also offer a referral discount for every friend of his who buys from me too.

Okay, [/end sarcasm].

But really, there is no real proof, and only some manufacturer's claims. Really, how did people keep fish for 80, 100 or more years before this product was invented? All the good ol' standards apply, do water changes and all the other necessary tank maintenance and you do not need any chemical additive.

Got some a couple of months ago to try out. Dunno if it works fully. I wasn't very happy with the cloudiness that existed in the tank for a few days. In the end I chickened out and changed the water after two weeks. Seems to me it will work out very expensive using the weekly dosage recommended on my 50g tank.

Probably won't use it again, so if anyone want's it they can have it for the cost of postage!

Irf.

I have a bottle of Tetra Easybalance and have used it a couple of times. I'm still far happier adding less chemicals to my tank and simply continuing with my regular water changes.

Thanks. Now I have to clean coffee off the keyboard.

The best thing you can add to your tank is fresh water. It's cheap & effective, as well as readily available. The product Bignose is offering is one of the best.
