I was wondering if anyone feeds their fish this fish food? Here is a link to the product:

Are they any good for fish growth and getting out their best colours? It says that it helps bring colour-enhancing nutrition to the bottom feeders. I was thinking about getting it for my yoyo loaches and corydoras.

try the tetra mini granules.
my corries and loaches like them.

I have always liked feeding it to my fish, it really does bring out the colours in the fish I have.
My fish get them everyday.
I highly recommend it

iJay, would the LFS also have the mini-granules? I don't think they sell the mini granules.

Ashli, do your clown loaches eat these granules? Do they sink right to the bottom so the clowns can eat them?

i got my mini-granules from my lfs (world of water).
got some from ebay as well.

I use Tetra Prima which is a colour enhancing granule, i use it in my cichlid tank too as an extra to their normal cichlid diet of krill, pellets & frozen foods.

They are particularly good for feeding bottom dwellers like loaches, corys and synos.

Personally i dont know if it enchances any colour as its not something easily proven, but my fish love it and thats what matters

My loaches love em, they'll sink right to the bottom, and sometimes my clown loaches will swim up and meet them halfway

My kuhlis also love em as well, but they'll wait til they sink to the bottom.

My loaches are very vibrant in colour, excellent stuff.

Ashli, do the granules always sink to the bottom for you? When I try feeding the granules to the loaches, the granules sinks down halfway and then floats back up, it never seems to stay at the bottom (substrate) so the loaches tend to miss 75% of the granules...I have to scoop it up when it comes back to the top and then pour it in again.

How long did it take until you started noticing results (vibrant colours)?
