Hiya,

been looking at the tetra art 60 ltr aqaurium for some time, and may want to start saving up for none if i decide to get one :)

However whats stock could i put in it, atm i have a 48ltr with:

11 neon tetras, 4 ottos and a zebra loach. the red tail shark and 2 congo tetras im dealing with, no thanks to the shop keeper!? surprise surprise!

what would be compatable with them?

Also i am looking for a stand to go with it, thats not too expensive, thin but would fit the tank on it.
all good prices, im looking at tanks thaqt are £70 but are hoping to get one a little cheaper? £60?

thanks x

Personally, I'm not a big fan of those type tanks. They are usually much more expensive than just getting a glass tank and all the needed items or even something like a 29 gallon starter kit.

As far as stocking is concerned, you are really limited to what you can stock. Mainly smaller tetras, guppies, rasboras, corys, etc. You really need to look to get a larger tank if you have space for it as the congos (very active swimmers) and RTBS (aggressive) you already have need a much larger tank than what they are in (I understand the problem with the fish store). Even the zebra loach needs lots of swimming room.

i have the tetra tank you are talking about.

i got it as a christmas present and it is perfect as i am a beginner. it came with everything i needed to get started.

at the moment in it i have 3 danios 4 corys and 2 phantom tetras

i would recommend it as a beginners tank for simple fish keeping

ok, so what would that look like truck...a little comfused on what you mean?

Sorry if that sounds thick, but not sure when it comes to aquariums that are new to me really, have always just got an aqaurium with the light in ect.

Well, at pets at home, they sell bog standard plain glass tanks (with some type on hood depending on size) for tiny tiny prices. I have a 30l one for my betta and its very good!

Since this comes with nothing you need a filter (eg fluval 2+), a heater, and some sort of lighting unit. With that you will have saved about 40-50 squid!

hi i got the 64 litre interpet fishbox from pets at home cost £89.

also if brought with the beech unit it only costs a total of £129.00 that included a filter , filter boost liquid, dechlorinater liquid ,heater, and few more bits ,good deal i thought its been

set up month now and looks good .

you could keep a pair of dwarfs like bolivian rams or many otheres. with maybe some cories and lemons

well, am i better of with this tank for £66.95?

DOES THIS DO FRESHWATER is my only question about it?

i would of thought it would hold freshwater, but you experts can correct me if needed to.

all that stuff that you sed truck all still adds up to about £63, and then depending on the heater maybe up to £73!? wouldnt it be quicker and easier ordering this one:
