Hello.

We bought a Tetra Aqua Art 60L aquarium a couple of years ago. We need a new strip light for it and possibly a new filter. I went into the Pets at home shop where we bought it yesterday and could see no spare parts for our tank. There were no assistants on hand. Looking at the internet today, the various links appear suspiciously out of date. Does anyone know whether they are still in business.

Tetra are still in business, some manufacturers dont supply spare parts for tanks, or anything for that matter, im not familiar with the tetratec systems, but, if its just the bulb thats gone you will need to find out the wattage, and search that online e.g. 20w t8(diameter of bulb, which it will be t8) light tube...

and, as for the filter, you have many options, not just tetratecs, it depends on how much you want to spend, but, if you are staying with an internal filter, i would reccommend something like the fluval 2 plus.

the light tube you need is the 15w, i think- check that first though.

hocome you need a new filter? from what i understand its just a regular internal removable filter? if so then if you need a new one then any other on the market will be suitable...

as for the strip light, its best to try another store, doesnt have to be the store you got it from, try a maidenhead they will be able to tell you if they can still get the part and order it in if needs be
