hi -
I have a Tetra AquaArt 30L tank which I use either as a quarantine tank or for fry born in my main tank. So far, it's been great- easy to clean & maintain. But I just discovered that the housing of the light fixture (it's built into the tank lid) is crumbling(!) The clear part that is between the bulb and the water surface is ok, but the white plastic top half that is attached to the lid and holds the whole light fixture in place is what's damaged. I was changing the bulb and bits of the white plastic housing just crumbled into fine particles. It's as if the heat from the bulb has weakened and disintegrated it.

Has anyone had this problem?? I've contacted Tetra online, but no response thus far. I really want to replace the housing ASAP but can't seem to find it anywhere online - any suggestions?

Many thanks!
Shelly
