Tetra Aqua Blackwater Extract

Hi everyone! I really love tetras and so am going to get me 5 or 6 for my new 5 gallon that I am getting today! (Fish will not be bought same day as tank ) Do I need the Tetra Aqua Blackwater Extract for my set up? Is it beneficial in anyway? Thoughts please! Thanks!

No because most tetras are bred and raised in captivity, they are used to tap water. You can put bogwood in your tank and achieve a similar result. If you use the extract, make sure you use the same amount each time so that it's consistent.
