Tetra Advice

Hi, I've tried to research what this could be but every site seems to say something different so I'm hoping someoneon here may know.

My neon tetra has bloomed over the past month, initially I thought she was possibly pregnant but she's just got bigger and I'm a little concerned.

Does anyone know what it could be?

I hate to be the bringer of bad news but, I've had 3 tetras swell up and they have all died. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not.
I'm sure someone will come along with advice. I've heard that overfeeding could be the problem.

Thanks, I hope this isn't the case, it's always been the largest tetra but this is getting extreme.

For a start, they are not neons they are Cardinal Tetras!!
 
Secondly, I would say she is either gravid/full of eggs (they spend a lot of time in this state) or it has a tumour which is unlikely to be treatable.

I have a neon that is OBESE. Its always been like it since I bought it 2 years ago but it seems fine to me. No idea why it is like it though but from what I've heard, it's relatively common so don't worry too much.
