I have a 10-gallon tank with uncured rock and experimental substitute for driftwood. That I created by sawing through a wooden broad to fit length wise. Keeping it set in place by using suction cups which in turn also hold the air wand. Installing a Fluval 205 canister to increase filtering capacity(especially bio capacity)and water movement. Taking advantage of the currents I twisted the output nozzle in direction to the air wand which causes it to drive the air bubbles counter cloak-wise and down. This I think improves biological filtration by improved aeration. In the future I seek to expand my experiments by using products meant for pound applications. The majority my efforts are focused on saving money. Either modifying or purchasing products for multiple uses. I’ am open mind and interested in unique responses. Although I’ am a beginner and beg mercy. :/

he is probably a guest or something and uncured rock belongs in a marine aquria and even then it has to be specially treated or something also a fluval 205 on a 10 gallon probably wouldnt work out i have a 205 on a 20gal and find the currents too strong and soft acidic water would help. also do you have any fish in your tank and what water parimeters do you have?
