Anyway, when you test your water do you use liquid drops, those tablets or test strips? I have heard that some are more relialbe than others? is that true?

Your poll is a bit broken, lol. I use liquid drop texts.

I've used both the strips and liquid drops. Out of the two of them I think the liquid showed a more accurate result.

I use the liquid tests, i used to use the tablet tests as the liquid ones have a very short shelf life once opened (about 3 months) but the tablet tests were discontinued due to links to cancer (so i was told).

Test strips are next to useless for anything but testing the pH.

I didnt know about the cancer thing and the tablets. I have always used tablets but i might switch to the liquid drops. Especially if they are more accurate.

I've never used anything other than drops. They are very accurate, but I'm thinking about trying the dip strips instead. They seem quicker. And they won't shatter if you drop them!!

Strips are far more expensive and far less accurate. Once you have the process of the liquid tests down, it's quick and easy.

Definitely go with the liquid tests.

I use all in one sticks and liquid kits though the all in one sticks are just until I use them up and go on to more reliable liquid kits.

i said the all in one because i test them but i also use liquid for ammonia too

I use the test strips (tetratest5) if you cut them in half down the longest edge you get twice as many!
