Test Kits

For a planted tank i assume you need the following test kits:

Nitrate
Phosphate
ph
kh

As far as i know the kh and ph are used to determine the Co2 level. But buying kh and ph cost more money than just buying this. What you think? Shall i just go for the Co2 test kit or is the kh and ph test kit really nessisary. I already have a ph test kit, but it doesn't really give exact values.

My test kits consists of PH, PH high range, Amonia,Nitrite,Nitrate all in one box set from Aqaurium Pharmaceuticals,INC we use them at the zoo and they are very good, i also have a GH and KH test kit from nutrafin and thats all i use.
