Temps.

Hi guys.

3 different thermometers, 3 different temps

Just got me a digital Marina Aqua Minder, this says 29.8.
The LCD thing stuck on the front of the tank says about 28 (28 is green coloured),
and a normal/convetional thermo says 27.



Anyone have an Aqua Minder?
How accurate are they?

Generally speaking, the cheaper the thermometer, the more inaccurate it will tend to be. I use a lot of the cheap $2 thermometers that hang in the tank, they are +or - a few degrees, i mark on them how much they are off. Cheap, but they work. I've found the ones that have the steel balls in the base to be most accurate.

The one that sticks on the front is cheapest, I don't have a digital, so I don't know if they can be callibrated.
