Temporary Housing.

I am going to start moving my fish when hoovering the gravel.How long can i keep them in a 15l plastic tank without heating and filtration?My heater would fit if needed but my filter would be too strong. 2 dalmation mollys,3 danios and 3 bronze corys.

Mine only stay in a seperate tank for up to 15 minutes.
I'd say, up to an hour. But more, depending on the amount of water there is.

I wouldn't move fish just to clean the tank. They'll soon get used to you cleaning around them.

The only ones I move are the small ones, that could get sucked up

Either keep the gravel cleaner in the gravel or, if you're using a plain tube, rubber band a piece of mesh or netting over the end

My fish go crazy when i hoover.I thought moving them would be less stressful as it will need cleaned more thanks to the mollies toilet habits!
