Temperature for platys?

are platys able to live at 27 degrees or not because i have some gouramis that live at 27 so its a bit of a collision

Argh! If only I knew how to convert to celcius. I know that platies can survive well up into the mid 80s F but I don't know what that would be in Celcius.

25 is 77 so i think 27 is 81

It's 80.6, and that should be fine for them..

Yup, it was extremely hot in Sydney a couple of weeks ago. The tank temp got up to 29 deg. Celcius once!!! I do however keep my tank temp between 26 deg and 28 deg.
