i keep my reef tank around 82-83 with lights on, about 79-80 lights off.

~83 in the summer and ~75 in the winter. Really more for the benefit of my electricity bill than anything else... Going much beyond that range could be asking for trouble with many species.

phew...I was glad to hear that. I can't keep my 1 large tank above 78ish b/c the temp of the room is around 65-68 in the winter. Summer should be no problem, though

with all the watts your pumps and stuff will be pushing, as well as the lights (especially if you are having a reef), it shouldnt be that hard.

I'll probably need a chiller, even though it's 125 gallons. We open the windows until it gets about 80 outside and then close them as well as turn the air on. So things could heat up really fast. Maybe we'll have to change our ways

Don't buy a chiller, horrendous waste of $$. Spend the same amount on a window mount airconditioner and have both your fish and you happy.

We have central air in the house, but I like to air out the house as long as possible....love that fresh breeze blowing through Maybe we'll just have to start closing the windows and turning on the air sooner

I keep one tank at 69F. It keeps seahorses and macro algaes.

Another tank is at 72F. It keeps seahorses, many soft corals, some LPS, and some SPS.

Another tank is at 78F which keeps clowns, kole tang, midas blenny, bicolor blenny, some starfish, many LPS, some softies, and 8 or 9 SPS.

Everything is doing well in every tank.
