Tell Me What You Think

It comes with very good equipment.

What does?

Rio or Vision?

Think Luke ment the tank you posted the link to :)

Not a bad price for a 6ft tank. Probably not as "finished" as a Rio tank but would probably still be quite nice.

I agree about the bow front. They look nice but I still prefer a flat fronted tank (mainly because it is REALLY hard to get a decent photo of fish through a bow fronted tank, not an issue for everyone though :) ).

What are you planning on putting in it (other the water ;) )?

Sand, Plants and fish :hyper: :hyper:

I so want balas and want to keep my tigers and clowns so i will just need to see.

Have spoke to hubby and he preffers the rio400 to the vision450. I will need to decide about this tank in link.

Just scared incase it all buggers up.

If i knew someone who had this tank or the same make i would feel alot better. hmmmmm.

Yeah its a lot of water if something goes wrong...

I like the vision 450 but the rio 400 is nice as well. If you planning on keeping it for a few years then Personally I would most likely go with a more expensive one just for the peace of mind (again its a lot of water :) ). It looks like a reasonable tank though, 10mm glass, decent looking stand. You will most likely find the only differences are in the finish on the silcone (not as neat) and on the stand/hood.

I have used a lot of cheapo tanks and so far (touch wood) had no problems. At the end of the day as long as the glass is a decent thickness and actually holds water in it then the rest all just personal preference (I personally dont care if the silcone is not nicely finished inside the tank as long as it doesnt leak :) ).

I have been planning to get a 5X2X3ft tank (or close to it) for a long time now but in a similar situation have been worried about having that much salt water and a couple of grands worth of livestock (eventually) in a cheap tank. I keep swinging between wanting to get it custom built, buying a branded all in one system (which makes my wallet cry out in fear) and going for a cheaper prebuilt tank. Been about 4 months and still haven't decided what to do for the best :)
