I think they all work the same it just depends on how you want to use it.

You can get an inline meter so you're monitoring tds all the time, I use a pen type meter (the last in your list) as I just use it once in a while to check on the de-ioniser and other filters. Seems very accurate and is all I need.

I too find any pen or probe-type a little more convenient. I use a slightly older model of the last one you pictured
 
I personally like an inline but all I test is my RO/DI. It is mounted over by the unit and measures incoming and outgoing tds so I know how bad my source water is and when to change my DI resin. Simple digital meter and it never gets lost (like my refractometer has).
