I just don't get it, and all the terms involved :no: not at all....
Using dwarf gourami as an example could anyone explain the families, divisions, sub-divisions, genera, sub-genera etc for me?
Is this correct;

Order- Perciforme
Sub order- Anabantoidei
Family- Belontidae
Genera- Colisa
Sub species- Colisa Lalia

What about kingdom, phylum, subphylum, superclass, class, division, superorder, subfamily...

Totally lost in understanding it, but it can't be that difficult....

Thanks in advance.
