well there both certainly females, and the blue one does look pregnant, with my experience with balloon mollies she will get considerably larger and her belly drop further, from above she will look almost like a ball when close to dropping
a breeding trap in the tank would be okay for mum and baies but i find a seperate fry tank would be best,if shes not in the trap when she has them they will more than likely be eaten.eeekk!!

Yes, I guess it is something along those lines. Personaly, I think it's pretty sick even if it is done without harm. But these were aquired not by choice, and i'm just a big old softie I couldn't turn them away.
Thanks for your replies, I put her in the trap overnight awaiting responses and I think I will leave her out for a few days till she gets bigger, and put her in when she looks like "a ball".
