well there both certainly females, and the blue one does look pregnant, with my experience with balloon mollies she will get considerably larger and her belly drop further, from above she will look almost like a ball when close to dropping

they re balloon mollies, they are supposed to look that way!

a breeding trap in the tank would be okay for mum and baies but i find a seperate fry tank would be best,if shes not in the trap when she has them they will more than likely be eaten.eeekk!!
you could always get a heater etc online

Nooo!!! thats really awful!

i personally think they look a million times better not being dyed,it just looks like a little kid as drawn all over them.

yep its awful, porr fishies, these two look healthy, and with time the dye should fade

Yes, I guess it is something along those lines. Personaly, I think it's pretty sick even if it is done without harm. But these were aquired not by choice, and i'm just a big old softie I couldn't turn them away.

Thanks for your replies, I put her in the trap overnight awaiting responses and I think I will leave her out for a few days till she gets bigger, and put her in when she looks like "a ball".

make sure you don't stress them out, leave the lights off and don't keep buging them. balloon mollies are known to hold-in their fry
