Well i've just bought some frozen red mosquito larvae and my fish think it's the best thing ever. As soon as the block was in the water the guppies were smashing it up against the breeding trap to try and get at it. Half the fish are swimming round with what looks like big red tongues hanging out of their mouths cos they won't give up their prizes

It was a belated christmas/new year gift. They shall either be on peas or a starve day tomorrow, see how plump their bellies are looking after the binge lol

Yep all fishies love bloodworms . I recently found crawdads are actually a bigger hit with my fish. Someone brought home 2lbs of whole ones and no one was eating them. So I turned them into fish food . Took about an hour to do all of them, I went for more than just the tails though. They stink so much, but man the fish love them.

Lol it is always good to see them really enjoying the food. It's better than seeing the flake disappear in 20 seconds. Can't wait to see what they'll be like with the other things i bought like tubifex and mysis lol

My clown loaches go nuts over bloodworm. They prefer it live but will take the frozen stuff if that is all I am offering!

The guppies often steal it off each other - one will have a bit sticking out of it's mouth and another will come and snatch it away XD
