Most don't cooperate with photos or videos. It probably doesn't help that I ged them during the day as opposed to night time.

I used to have a bit of a phobia about larger spiders, and I still have a bit of an issue with northern dock spiders. But I became accustomed to tarantulas, and find them a little interesting. I have a friend with a spider room, full of them. In containers.

It could be worse - from arachnaphobia to only one species bothering me.

But @Rusty_Shackleford , you need have no fear of me stealing your pets...

It's ok, I'm a little scared too. Tarantulas can move faster than a human can react.
But they are fascinating creatures, with very interesting and sometimes dorky behaviors. I took another video that was too large to load. It was one of the tarantulas doing a happy dance after it was fed. Yes they actually do a happy dance and move around and shake their butt. Some scientists have speculated that tarantula setae (hairs) are so sensitive to movement they can actually detect the passing of individual atoms.

I remember telling someone I kept tarantulas and they asked if they were in containers. Being the smart as* I am I said, no they are just free range and they can go wherever they want in the house, wanna come over? 🤣🤣🤣

I don't know anything about your life outside the forum, Rusty. But if you have free range tarantulas in your home, I'll wager it's pretty quiet.
