Hi everybody,

I currently have a 60 gal. moderatly planted tank which only houses a pair of kribensis and six serpae tetras. PH levels are between 7.5 and 8. I was hoping someone could maybe point out a tankmate or two that would be able to hold their own against the sometimes agresive kribs and the superfast little bit nippy serpaes. Something that likes the upper region of the tank would be a big plus but let me hear all sugestions. Also is there anything suitable that would eat algae off the plants? I would love some otos but im assuming my tank is a little too agressisve... right?

Thanks a lot
Sean

Is Jordanella floridae... (american flag fish) a realistic possibility?

and am i right in assuming the otos would be a no-no? Any other suggestions?

ok not sure how great these would get along but ive heard that silver dollars eat alot of algae they are pretty peaceful but will get abit agressive during feeding time and do like to eat live plants. they prefer to be in bigger groups and get to be about 6 inches. im not sure about the compatibility with your fish so you may want research that if you choose some of these.

Maybe some other dwarf cichlids? Also, about the otos, you should be able to keep a school as long as they have places to hide and call their own. They're pretty fast moving. I was surprised when a friend of mine was keeping them with a dwarf puffer.
