hello i have a 130 litre tank with 3 tiger barbs and 3 green tiger barbs and 6 black widow tetras. I would like to know other fish that i can add to this bareing in mind with the barbs. i dont mind taking slight risks with compatibilty but nothing to obvious. ok thanks guys :D

Why not add a nice school of about 6 cories. All ur fist are mid to top and these would add a bit of movement to the bottom of the tank. :good:

ye thanks ill look into that. anymore possibilties maybe a blue gourami or not? some rainbow fish or platys?

A gourami might work, I don't know if the barbs may pick on one though? I think your group is big enough to keep them occupied, it would be trail and error really. A school of a smaller species of rainbowfish would be nice, however you already have two groups (barbs & skirts) of largish schooling fish, you might want to focus on bottom dwellers or "centerpeice" fish (like the gourami). However thats just my opinions. Platies would probably work.

thanks meg the fish you have helped alot :good:

i had a group of about 6 tiger barbs in my 60 gallon, with 2 dwarf gouramis and the barbs harassed them non stop. i think they may have been the cause of the gouramis dying, but im not sure.
