Tank without gravel

Dear All,

I have a Tank which is 30x12x18 height. I have planted the plants in plastic boxes and kept the tank clean....I was wondering does the tank goes through cycle or not and can I empty my tank which is one month old, because I want to install the stand for it....will it do any harm to my plants and guppies fishes in them.

in a word you would have to start again if you empty that tank. as you have no gravel substrate there wont be enough bacteria in a 1 month old filter to keep things from going wrong.

if you empty the tank you would have to re-cycle it before putting the fish back in.

can i ask why you have no substrate?

thats a goog question....why its empty ....because I am waiting for an import of substrate right now.....which is getting delayed but once I get I will start DIY CO2 also.
