Tank Water

Hi, I set a Aqua One AR980 (210 litres) up yesterday, with sand, soaked bogwood, two stones and two ornaments, then i added some bactinee. But the water is still merky. Is this normal, will it just take time to clear?

Just set mine up and it took 4 days to clear up.

Sand especially is notorious for making the water a little cloudy

My 108l tank took a while to clear but now it's crystal clear. Toop about 5-6 days to do it, I just restarted my tank so it's kinda merky again, I use sand as well so my guess is it's the sand. The filter will do it's job and clear it out don't worry, just give it time
