Hi everyone
My tank normally sits around 25-25.5 degrees but now the outside temperature has dropped and it's cooler in my house my tank is sitting at 26.5 degrees. I have dropped the temp down on the heater to around 23 but it's not dropped the tank teml and I can hear it still clicking on and off. Its an external inline hydor. Is it just the water in the filter then in the return pipe is colder being in the open so triggering the heater? Is there anything I can do? I don't want to drop my thermostat much lower really. Will my fish be ok at 26 ish degrees?
