Tank To Be Set Up This Weekend

hi all

well i went and bought my ocean rock today (35 pound for a 25kg bag) and some white play sand for the substrate, i already have this sand in the tank but its got bits of gravel in it so i wanna clean it out.

I have 2 mature filters that will be staying in the tank

as ive already cycled im hoping if possible to stock this weekend if i can, i just need to remove all my tropicals

any advice?

why wait for a long drawn out cycle when you have mature tanks on hand?

as for comon pleco's their fine usually just keep an eye out if you happen to get some real aggressives.
you didnt tell us how big your tank is.

Did you decide on what fish you want to keep? And eventually you're going to need to upgrade your plecos tank, a full grown common pleco needs at least a 6ft tank as they can get 18 to 24 inches.

ive been offered some BN Plecs so i think once he gets a bit bigger ui will retirn him to fish shop

anyone in north east england that can recommend anywhere to get some cichlids?
