i just got home and noticed my room and all my tanks are at 80 .,.its about 11pm and, would it be a good or bad idea to unplugg the heaters for the night, just to make sure they dont make it go past eighty? im not sure if the temp will drop much in the room if its already 11pm.

Don't you have a thermostat on your heaters?
80F degrees is okay, just try not to go any higher. And since you say it is nite your right the temp. should not go any higher. Bettas are also pretty hardy so I think you would be fine with turning it off.

well i use the elite brand heaters the 150watt for my 33gal tank has temp settings on it but my 25 watt for my betta is just a knob u turn up and down. im not quite sure on if im using it right yet cuz sometimes it will make it go up or drop a few degrees by its self without touching it...
