last nite i found out that my 10 gal was leaking and now today my dad suprised me with a new 25 gal I am soooooooooo happy and can hardly wait till he comes home with it!

I just got done setting the 25 gal up. i started at 10:30 am. I had to put my fish in the new tank without cycling it so i hope they survive

Wish i had a dad like that, Mine was ok when i got a 2 1/2 foot tank,
But then he flipped when i got a 4 gallon for my betta

If i was doing what u did then i would have transfer'd as much of the old tank's water as i could into the new tank and just add to that.... so it would be like doin a water change.

But i aint you

I would have but my old ten gallon had a planaria outbreak and i didn't want to have to deal with it in my new tank And while cleaning out my old tank i found a baby fish but then one of my frogs ate it
