3 swordtails
3 kuhlii loaches
2 bristlenose plecos
and maybe more ive forgotten or mayb not cuz i dont know if its stocked yet

What kind of danios and cories do you have? It may determine whether you will have room in your 30 gallon tank.

Please remember...The general stocking guide is 1" of fish for every 1 gallon of water. There are different modifications to the guide. For simplicity sake, we can modify this to apply to fish under 3". Larger fish can still be generally stocked at about 1" of fish for every (at the most) 5 gallons of water to accommodate some of the above. Please keep in mind that this is a general stocking guide and NOT an exact science. It still does not take account other factors, such as:
- How much swimming room the fish will require (6 neon tetras will probably not be happy in a 10 gallon tank)
- Swimming level (top, mid, or bottom dwellers)
- The amount of waste a fish will produce
- Group amount (ex. Clown loaches would prefer to be in group of at least 3)
- Aggression levels
- Compatibility (ex. Clown loaches would not be happy with fast, darting fish)
- Tank Length/Height requirements (Angelfish require taller tanks, which neon tetras prefer longer tanks)

An improperly overstocked tank will lead to:
- Elevated ammonia
- Elevated nitrate
- Low oxygen levels
- Harassment from other fish
- Lack of hiding places
- Lack of enough fish to provide schooling

Unfortunately, those are similar causes of fish stress.

I'd say keep the livebearers in the ten and let them breed and get bigger in there. That way you won't have to worry about getting rid of a tonm of them later on.

I think it's a pretty good setup you're thinking of. Just remember to keep the lid on tight because the hatchets'll jump!

Start off with only a few, even with previous cycling. Add a few a month and take tests. It'll take you a while to get to where you want to go.

Black skirt tetras will also get a big aggressive and pick an smaller weaker fish. Most skirt type tetras are like this.

I don't agree with that. Mine hog the food and might chase the others away, but it's never aggressive. They were shy when in a pair and now that they're in a group of seven, they stay to themselves.

My skirts might just of a calmer temperament. :dunno: If you don't get a response to this thread, you might not want to try adding them. Just make sure they're in a group to cut down on stress that they undergo and to make sure that any aggression they exhibit is amongst themselves (in the form of playful fin nipping, of course :D).

hmm okay i will :) but the30 gallon is kinda a hope right now :) but still i cant add fish to a tank i dont have yet... i would try and buy it but my parents are in control of my 400$ i have in the bank after like 4 years of lawnmowing/birthday money... yeah i think i might and i wasnt really thinking about breeding the livebearers because i have 2 goldfish because like they were suppose to be a present for my cousin but she decided she wanted a beta so im stuck with both of them... i was thinking about keeping the goldfish in the 10 because thats prolly a decent size

okay would 2 inches per gallon be too much because ones an raiku and other ones like 3/4 the size of the otehr and i dont know what it is

kinda looks like a white krib :) with the red marks by the gills and black around the eyes

oh yeah another thing if the goldfish get too big for the tank too soon me and my mom are thinking about making a concrete pond or something during the summer (or will the make the like water too hard)?? so i can put them in there and get other goldifsh to go with them :)
