Well my mum was able to stop my other tank (they hadent even made it yet) as i found a site that will make me a 5x2x2 tank for £110 then £60 delivery,

Its going to be a fish only, Will keep you guys updated and i wont change anymore, im sorta excited. All i know is i want a snowflake eel and a niger triggerfish maybe some sort of Dwarf angel?

Not really sure, but i better get this set up, haha need to order the tank, but yay! 5 footer!

Oh i have a question, should i move my firefish and clown to this new tank? Would the bigger fish give them greif?

Thanks

i think the snowflake eel and trigger may cause grief to the clown and firefish particulary when the trigger gets bigger and mayeb becomes a bit peckish .... and 5 footer whey you can get some nice fish in that if its fo!! if the clown n firefish are doing well in ur other tank i wud leave them there :)

Maybe, they seem ok for now and the tomato/blackfin clown is about 2" and the firefish is to. All seems ok at the moment its been like 3 months i lost track maybe 4?

Could i get a yellow tang and a regal tang? Would they fight?

they may do. there both different body shapes n colours though, but since both need more swimming room then average fish .... they might fight! not 100% sure on that one though.

fish i would consider for an fo:

valentini puffer
lyetail wrasse
dwarf lionfish

some of the non reef safe wrasses are awesome too go to liveaquaria and look at the non reef safe wrasses :fun:

just some fish to look at and consider :)

tomato wouldnt be able to stay in the 12 gallon, but the firefish would be fine in the 12

Thats what i thought. Its defo a backfin (black foot) not a tomato but they grow to the same size as a tomato. I spose i will look around for a smallish tank maybe a 3foot they usualy have them for sale for quite cheap. Could just put sand, rocks (not live) and filter on, heater and then the fish maybe a powerhead.

May as well ask here, Do you need RO water to collaborate a refrcatometer? Could i use tap water?

Actually you should use a calibrated salt solution. Check the realm of knowledge sticky in reef chit chat, I posted a link which has the details there on the 2nd page ;)
