tank specs

so inorder to make sure a ten gallon tank can fit here in my dorm room, i gotta first find out, what are the specs of a standard ten gallon tank? i've been looking online but can't find the info anywhere. thanks to anyone who knows.

my top fin 10 gal is 10"dx20"wx12"h. It was super inexpensive at petsmart. that brand comes as seperate components or you can get the kit.

Usually, 10g tanks are 20 inches long, 10 inches deep, and 12 inches high.

well I'm in quite a small dorm here at state (less the 13'x 14') and I've got a 20 gallon and 10 gallon in here (10 gallon desk, 20 gallon on a separate stand) we just bunked the beds and put the TV on top of the dresser, here's a link to a 3-d layout of the bigger version of my room (the wall by the door is about 2 feet closer in my room then the one in the layout (c room but for some reason that link isn't working)
