I just want to know what would be the smallest safest tank that I could house 3 Labidochromis Caeruleus Cichlids?

What could I put together as far as male and female go? 2 females and 1 male?

I am getting a 20 gallon soon, I know this is small, but will it do for now until I get a 55 gallon in a couple months? The Cichlids are still very small, and I know they grow pretty fast. I only have 1 right now in my 10 gallon and she is about 1.5 maybe 2 inches long.

She is pretty cute I must add! (I am pretty sure it is a girl sense she has no dots on her anal fin. And my girl friend named her Lucy...lol.)

Thanks

Okay. 20 g holding tank is fine. I have 4 yellow labs in a 30 g without many problems. But, the bigger the tank the better.

Well I just found a 29 gallon tank for a good price and I talked to the guy and I am picking it up this weekend!

Will I be able to add more fish with this tank (other than Cichlids)?

Thanks

Well, i would not advise a 30g tank for yellow labs. They really need a bigger tank. And, no you wouldnt be able to put anytihng else in there.

Would the one I have be okay by itself? Or do they need to be kept in groups?

I just want the best for my fish.
