Tiggle
Fish Fanatic
Heres the story. Im going to pick up a 80L tank on the weekend to help rehouse some of the fish from my very over stocked 55L.
The 55L currently contains:
1x male sword tail
4x mature female platties
10x half grown fry
15x tiny fry
3x neons
1x cory cat
1x bristle nose
i want to seperate my male and female platties and swort tails. ive got one mature male and about 5 fry ive identified as male. i also need to seperate the bristle & cory since the bristle makes the cory's life hell... plus i intend to buy 2 or 3 more cories to make it happy.
the 55L is in the lounge room. i want to leave the neons in that tank. im thinking prehaps leave the males and bristle in that tank and move the females and cory into the new tank. but how many mature platties can i house long term in a 80L?
anyone one got any better suggestions on how to do this and make everyone happy?
Thanks
Tara
