I've got a Juwel Rio 180 tank. It's leaking from one of the joins about 1.5 inches down from the water level. The tank is full of fish. Is there anyway it can be effectively repaired without much, if any disturbance to the fish?

You could empty the tank to below the leak them reseal with silcone.

I no this is the problem, have you got a spare tank.

Not one big enough to fit the fish in, I have a small spare 40 litre hagen tank, I have two other tanks but they are fully stocked and the fish in the other two tanks would not get on with the ones in this tank.

Do you have any smaller fish in the other tank you could put in the smaller tank, so you could put the big fish in the others.

The tank that is leaking is mainly larger fish, gourami's, silver shark, Angel fish, obviously too big for the smaller tank, the other two tanks one is a 80 litre full of barbs and the other is a 180 litre with discus in it.

As you are in the UK you should be ok as there is a product out there called Gold Label Pond & Aquarium Sealer. It is made in the UK and says that it is good for use even underwater, is solvent free, is fish safe, and bonds all surfaces.

The only down side is the price - i paid £9.99 for (I think) 100ml. Worth it if you are going to save a nice tank like that though, not to mention the fish.
Good thing about the Rio tank is that you can lower the water level on it and all the kit will still work fine which stop the water destroying your floor any further. :)

Hit the name into google or phone your LFS in the morning - you should be fine.
