Tank Question About Cycling .

Hi guys today I got myself a juwel trigon 190, the tank has been out of action for only a few days, I've got all the gravel pump heater ect. Will I need to cyclle the tank all over again or will it be fine to get up and running?

Sorry if it's silly question but I would rather ask then be confused.

was the media kept wet? if so you will have had a fair bit of die off but there may be a small amount of bacteria left that would mean the tank may cycle quicker. altho i wqould still be safe and treat it as if you were starting from scratch

Cycle as normal to be on safe side.

Yes media was kept damp not full on wet, I will be on the safe size cheers guys

Be on the safe side and cycle your tank just in case.

Yeah will start it as normal hopefully should be faster this time I'm excited to get stocked

Yeah, I actually think I may get a pleco too! Don't worry it is the mini one that gets to 2 inches in length.
