Tank Progression - From Day 1 To Now

I was looking through a bunch of old threads/pictures, and thought this might be interesting to some. It definitely is to me. The first picture is from the first day our tank was setup, the second is once we got all the plastic plants and rocks in the tank, the third is from when we switched to live plants, and the fourth is now, with all our plants and the new light.

I got to say that is a lot of change How much of change was this for on the time you had it so far?

How much of change was this for on the time you had it so far?

The first picture is almost a year old. We cycled with fish (none died, either lucky or just used the right, hardy fish). The second picture is a couple weeks after the first I think, and the tank stayed pretty much exactly like that for a while. We switched to live plants a few months ago, then got the new light a month or two ago. The last pic is the current layout, although the plants have grown a bit more since that was taken.

what lighting (the company name) did you use? in the latest picture

It's a 120w Jebo light. Got it at the LFS, used, for $35 I think.

It's all one tank... you mean the second picture? I really liked that look, but I think the way it is now (the last picture) is much nicer and more natural.
