just found this link. sorry i would have made more of an effort with the reply if i knew it was directed at me.

glad the riccia worked out well. it should green up again soon, it tends to go a darker green/brown when out of water for that ammount of time but your's survived well.

are you planning on filling in the middle gravel section at all? You have lots of room for riccia covered caves/carpet etc...
