Switching over from plastic to live plants (one left to find the right color)

School zone sign (we home-school)
Lg shell with rock & plant in it.

Guppy Tank:
I let the kids decorate...they decided to go patriotic
We have red, white & blue stones
Statue of liberty
Clay pot
Live plants
Shells

Betta Tanks
Pebbles
plastic plants (growing out some live ones)

Man... why couldn't I have had you for a mom?! Good on you! Sounds like your kids are getting a very good education. It's great to be in a hobby that you can share with kids. Not that I have any yet, but if I did, they'd be well prepared for school subjects as diverse as biology, chemistry, botony, aesthetics, medicine, ethics, environmental studies, geography, even economics. They'd have developed good problem solving skills. They'd have experienced the miracle of life... and the reality of death. And they'd have learned all of that, while spending quality time with their parent(s). How cool is that?!

Anyway... Reading your post made me think about that and it made me happy. I just wanted to thank you. And if I ever have kids, hopefully they thank you too.
