Anyone any advice about wether i should keep all my 210 litres of water when i move my tank?If i dont will it be like starting all over? My tank has had no probs for a year since i had it and now hubby has brought a new carpet and i have to move it on sat. I could kill him lol. I suggested they carpet around it but hes not having that lol.Anyway changing from gravel to sand to make it worth my while but unsure about wether to keep all the water. Any advice please?

So long as the parameters (pH and temperature) of new water are the same as, or similar to, the tank then 100% water changes are fine.

Replacing all the water will not affect the filter bacteria which reside on the filter media. Many people tend to keep around 30% or so just as a safety blanket. All you really are doing by keeping water is retaining nitrates.
