what can go in a tank with neons, glowlites glasscats and a dwarf rainbow fish?
ohhhh and not guppys they die far too quick

What size is the tank? you say glowlites, are those glowlight tetras or danios?

they are glowlite tetras, there from a small tank that im replacing with a larger one next month.....im not sure what size this tank will be yet as i dont want to put in something like discus (someone has suggested) as they grow too big

I'm sorry but we need as much info as possible to help you effectivly;
tank size (L x H x W will do) quantity of each fish currently in there, filtration etc.

im not going to choose a tank untill i choose the fish, so i can pick the correct size that is required for that type.....im reserching first which should always be done. it will have external filtration if that helps, and would like scooling fish not bala's as i have two in my main tank and they get too big, does anyone know if rainbows are ok with glass cats i have two and a striped glasscat (the net says they are ok with neons and my one dwarf doesnt bother them)

To help you more can you come into the chat room?

im really sorry but i dont know how to use it, im relitivly new to forums

Ok no problem

From what you have said so far I'm thinking you are wanting a community tank, if that is correct then pretty much any community species will be fine neon tetras, glowlight tetras, glasscatfish and dwarf rainbow fish.
I personnally like danios but in your set up I'd avoid Zebra and Leopard danios, this is becuase they are very fast when it comes to feeding and your glass cats are slow in comparrison. You might want to consider other types of tetras like silvertips or penguinefish. most of the fish you have so far will only get to 4-6cm as adults (glass cats will get to 15cm)
I would be looking at a 30 gallon tank minimum (36" x 12" x 15").
I hope this helps :)
