Tank Mates

Hi everyone! I'm looking for suggestions for tank mates for my betta. He was in a community tank with some tetras for awhile, but that didn't work out. Right now he is in a 10 gallon with a bristlenose pleco and they get along fine, but the pleco will be moving to another tank. My husband wants to get some sort of crab. Will that be OK, or do you have some better ideas?

cories would be good, you'd have to get dwarf/pygmy though

I have Julii Cory with my bettas since they have become messy eaters the cories pretty much always have food

it would of course depend on the individual fish, my DTPK killed a fully grown 5" peppered cory that he had lived with since i got him, just randomly 1 day attacked her and she died, he now lives on his own
