Anyone know of some schooling fish (if there are any) that would go with the basic SA cichilds, like Firemouths, JDs, and GTs
Any advice is appreciated

I don't know of any specifics.... But am curious to know myself. I'm guessing any schooling fish that would be fun to watch would fit in my JDs mouth quite nicely (well, nicely in his opinion.....)

Depending on tank size and temperament of the JD/GT, silver dollars, giant danio's, tinfoil barbs, congo tetras may work. Especially with the size of the GT I'd try and stick to larger dithers, but if its just the firemouth you may get away with smaller ones.

if they are available in your area, i would try Buenos Aires Tetras, they get large enough to survive in your tank and are testy enough to handle some chasing from your cichlids

Well the 5 of the 6 i added 14 months ago are doing just fine in a 75 gallon with a 8 inch Dempsey and a 4 inch convict........

I bow to the know all god of fishes Bitteraspects!!!!!.....................Guess you cant handle being wrong about something, sorry if what i told you doesnt fit with your compatibilities of fish, but what i stated is true........believe it or not....I dont care...........I'm hear to give advice, not be berated by someone who thinks he knows it all..........I've been raising fish for over 20 years, i know a few things too

haha yeah, bitter is quite ignorant, he needs to get over himself. an 8" JD after 14months is hardly less than average..
