hi all
im new to this forum but have had my fish for about 8 weeks now
i have 3 glowlight danios, 2 zebra danios, 3 gold zebra danios, 5 leopard danios, 6 cardinla tetras, 3 algae amano shrimp, 3 fishnet flying fox and purchased today 3 bumblebee snails.

i am wondering what people would recommend as my next fish or snail to purchase?

Have you had your water tested? It is always worth keeping an eye on water readings before you add a new batch of fish.
To give you an idea of what fish to add next, what sort of fish do you like? ;)

yes i have all the kits to keep on top of my water, (ammonia, nitrate and ph levels)
i would like fish that will add some colour to my tank, tht is why my last buy was the cardinal tetras which were about 12days ago

Honey Gouramies
Dwarf Neon Rainbow
Bolivian Ram

All of these are colourful fish and would do fine in your tank.

the rams look nice where abouts do they like in the tank (bottom dwellers or top ) but i would prefer something the same size as the danios really

Bolivians tend to use most levels of the tank but spend most of their time mid to bottom levels.
Smaller colourful fish include:
Glowlight Tetra
Red Phantom Tetra
Rummy Nose Tetra
Flame Tetra
Cherry Barbs
Pentazona Barbs
Harlequin Rasbora

I have been told from LFS that i cannot have the smaller tetras as they will not agree with the danios and their boysterous behaviour and to get the bigger ones, my choice being cardinal tetras

Danios tend to spend more time in the top level of the tank, whereas a lot of Tetras spend more time mid to bottom.
Provided it is quite well planted, mixing the two shouldn't be a problem.

My danios do tend to spend most of the time all over the tank from top to bottom, but when first put in stayed mainly at the top. My tetras as you say generally stay at the bottom but when the light is off gradually rise to the top staying in their school.
My tank is well planted though

hey, same tank as me :)

I really like this tank just he right size for an upgrade as my first tank was only a 30litre rena
